Eligibility
 

1.          This promotion is open to all existing Sky customers who have successfully joined Sky VIP and are UK , Isle of Man, Channel Island and Republic of Ireland residents, aged 18 years or over. Proof of age may be required. Employees (or members of their immediate families, including any live-in partner or household member) Sky UK Limited company (“Sky”), companies associated with the promotion and all affiliates of such companies may not enter the promotion.
Promotional Period
 

2.         This promotion opens at 11:00:00 on 26 June 2020 and closes at 23:59:59 on 6 July 2020 (the “Promotional Period”).
 

Entry Requirements
 

3.        To enter the competition, fill out the entry form, including your name, email address, and answer to the question contained in the entry form and click ‘enter’. After you have done this, you will be entered into the competition.

4.        No purchase necessary, online registration required. This reward allows you to enter the ‘Win the chance to feature in the ‘A night in the Anthony Joshua’ competition (the “competition”) on 23 July 2020 (see ‘Win Exclusive Prizes’ in the Sky VIP section of the My Sky app for more details of the competition and prizes).

5.        One entry per household (i.e. the billing address for your Sky account) over the Promotional Period. Entries sent in through agents, third parties or multiple accounts will be disqualified. Entries that contain any sexual, offensive, inappropriate or defamatory content will be disqualified. Late, incomplete or otherwise ineligible entries will also be disqualified. Sky reserves the right to not award prize if the qualifying criteria is not met and the right to select replacement entry into the promotion.

6.        By entering this promotion, we will treat you as accepting these terms and conditions and agreeing to keep to them.
 

Prize
 

7.         There are 6 prizes to be won.

8.        The prize will consist of the opportunity for you to feature in the live virtual experience and ask one question to Anthony Joshua on 23 July 2020.

9.        The draw will take place in three stages:
a.        Stage 1: A minimum 50 entries will be selected by a random computer-generated draw from all eligible entries received during the promotional period to create a Stage 1 Shortlist on or around 7 July. If the number of entries does not exceed 50 then all entries will form part of the Stage 1 Shortlist.

b.        Stage 2: [The responses from the entrants in the Stage 1 shortlist will be independently judged to select 12 finalists based upon the following selection criteria]:
i.      Compelling
ii.      Interesting
iii.      Different
iv.      Within the specified word count limit (100 words).

c.         Stage 3: The Stage 2 finalists will be subject to final vetting via video call to be assessed by an independent adjudicator. They will need to be available for a video call on Thursday 9th, Friday 10th July or Monday 13th July. The interdependent judge will select the six winners based on the following selection criteria:
i.      Camera confident
ii.      Enthusiastic
iii.      Interest for the show and event time

d.        Stage 4: Winners will have 24 hours to confirm that they agree to featuring live on the show.

10.     There will be multiple winners for this prize. We will contact the winners using the email address or phone number provided at the time of entry on or around 1 working days following the closing date 13 July. The winners will have 24 hours to accept the prize and give us any more information we may need in relation to the prize.

11.       If we cannot contact the winner within a reasonable time or they are not able or available to accept the prize for any reason which is beyond our reasonable control, we can award the prize to another person who entered.

12.      You Sky account must be active to receive the prize.

13.     When we contact the prize winner to let you know of your win, we will also confirm how you will receive further information about your prize.

14.     The prize is for the personal use of the Sky customer’s nominated recipient.

15.     The prize does not include any form of hospitality or item not described in Clause 16 above.

16.     The prize does not include mini bar charges, service charges or any other service, or form of hospitality or item not described in Clause 8 above.

17.      The winner must keep to:
a.        [All separate terms and conditions on which the prize is issued by the relevant experience organiser (the “ticketing T&Cs”) and if there is any difference between the ticketing T&Cs and these terms and conditions, these will take priority; and]
b.        All applicable laws which apply in the countries in which your experience takes place.

18.     The Sky customer (or their nominated recipient) may not sell any prizes under any circumstances.

19.     If the prize or any element of it, is cancelled, changed, postponed or relocated, we may give you a similar prize instead. We will not offer any form of compensation, financial or otherwise.

20.    In the unlikely event of circumstances beyond our control that prevents the event taking place on the dates specified, we are unable to offer an additional alternative opportunity or any other compensation.

21.      If you have any accessibility needs, please let us know at the time you accept the prize and we will do our best to support you, including making arrangements for your carer.
 

Data Protection
 

22.     Any entrant data collected will be used for the purpose of administering the prize and contacting the applicants to notify them that their application was successful and, if you are successful, we may pass them on to third parties to deliver the prize or other information on the competition.
 

General
 

23.    Sky does not accept any responsibility for network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.

24.    There is no cash alternative to the prize and unless agreed otherwise in writing the prize is non-refundable and non-transferable.

25.    Sky reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control. We will not give any form of compensation, financial or otherwise.

26.    Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, Sky and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from the enjoyment of the prize; and/or any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize beyond Sky’s control; and for any act or default of any third party supplier.   

27.     You must keep to:
a.        health-and-safety information given to you at any time by the employees of the event venue or other authority on the day; and
b.        all laws which apply.

28.    The terms and conditions of any other third-party supplier will also apply to the prize where applicable. If there is a conflict between third party terms and conditions and these terms and conditions, these shall take precedence.

29.    Sky will not be liable for any prizes that do not reach the winners for reasons beyond the Sky’s reasonable control.

30.   Sky’s decision is final and binding in all respects on all entrants.  No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these entry terms and conditions will be disqualified.

31.     Sky may refuse or disqualify any entry (including winning entries) if there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or if the entrant concerned or anyone authorised by the entrant to deal with their entry, acts in a way towards Sky, other entrants or Sky staff which the Sky reasonably considers to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive. If an entry is disqualified, Sky reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.

32.    This promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law.  You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this promotion.
